Name Tracing

Early Four-Year Old
Materials You Will Need:
paper, pencil or marker, highlighter
What To Do:
Write your child's name in fairly large letters on paper and have your child trace the letters with a pencil or marker. Check your child for hand dominance and pencil grip, (your child should be using the first two fingers and thumb), and that your child is writing from left to right. This is also a good time to start teaching your child to trace letters from top to bottom.
